Always
drawing & making "creative" things as a child, led
Dianna to major in art in college. In 1984, she began designing
in the tole & decorative painting industry. At that time she
was also teaching painting.
In 1989, after publishing and producing numerous packets, her
first book was published by a prominent publisher. That same
year Dianna had a Christmas ornament selected to be in the
permanent collection at the Smithsonian.
In 1992, Dianna began self-publishing her Bless Your Heart
series of painting books. To date, she has authored 18 books, as
well as contributing numerous articles to publications.
Dianna has designed 19 fabric collections for Marcus Fabrics
Textiles. Her Grandma's Gingerbread fabrics line won the
prestigious Tommy Award in 1995. In 1996, she was again
nominated for her Snowbuddies fabrics. Some other fabric

When Dianna and her husband Randy aren't traveling and
exhibiting at trade shows across the United States, they live on
a farm in the middle of Missouri, surrounded by a menagerie of
animals. Gardening fills up most of her spare time. Dianna and
Randy's two grown daughters lend a hand with the fabric
business.
Dianna's designs can also be found in cross-stitch, rubber
stamps, buttons, stencils, and prints. She winds her off-beat
sense of humor through her artwork. Her goal is to give the
viewer an extra smile for the day!
