Irene Chan

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Irene came to the US when she was 18. She received her BFA in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She has had a successful career in multiple disciplines in design, from digital media to TV and broadcast design. Her clients include HGTV, DIY Network, Nickelodeon, CNN, to name a few. Irene's travels through Europe and Asia, as well as Iceland and Tanzania, have provided vast cultural references for her designs.

It was the birth of her son a few years ago that prompted her to go into designing for products that touches people in their every day lives. In fact, he inspired her creative style, which she describes as "very playful, colorful, whimsical, and lively", with motifs and color palettes that are vibrant and happy, and can bring a smile or even a laugh to people's faces.

Irene started to pursue art licensing and illustration in 2014 and as a result, her artwork now graces children's wall art and other home decor products. Currently she is working on illustrations for her first board books, and is equally excited to add Marcus to her portfolio, and bringing her designs to life on fabric for an brand new audience.

Irene lives with her husband and son in Atlanta, GA.
