Dolores Smith
is the creative force behind Timeworn Toolbox Designs. While making their
annual trip to Paducah, she and her friend Sarah Maxwell, decided to finally
open the quilt shop they had always dreamed of, and Homestead Hearth was est.
in 2002. The shop has become a must-see destination in central Missouri,
recognized as a Top Ten shop by Quilt Sampler magazine!
Dolores has
co-authored several books published by Kansas City Star, and is working on a
fifth one with the Kansas City Star and C&T Publishing.
Dolores has
lived in Mexico, MO. most of her life. She married her best friend over 33
years ago and together they have two wonderful sons, Ryan and Kyle. Now that
her youngest son Kyle has graduated college and married, she is ready to design
fabrics and patterns that will coordinate with them. Her designs under the
Timeworn Toolbox Designs brand will reflect her love of wool and aged, vintage
fabrics. Visit Timeworn Toolbox Designs at Homestead
