The MIDNIGHT MEADOW collection was inspired by one stunning border stripe that was printed, dyed and painted on plain weave cotton fabric, circa 1850-1900. It is currently housed at the Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City. Many of the coordinates are pull-outs of this main border stripe as well as other artifacts from the museum, including wallpaper, ceramics and other objects.
Designer Nancy Rink was honored to create this gorgeous quilt design using these striking traditional prints; the rich navy ground print is the perfect backdrop for her multi-bordered medallion with accent blocks. A coordinating 108 backing is available.
