While studying early nineteenth century prints, Pam Buda noticed the recurrence of very bright prints, sometimes in unusually bright combinations. We usually think dark, madder colors when we think of the prints of this era, and yes...they were very popular. But in the beginning of the century, these bright prints were popular, too. "I was amazed at how much sparkle they gave to the early quilts and was inspired to create a fabric line showcasing them. I hope you use these amazing early prints to add some sparkle to the quilts you create," says Pam.
