Cindy Staub of Quilt Doodle Designs returns to her childhood memories to draw initial inspiration for her Tea for Two collection. The line mimics designs of her mother s teacup collection, combined with more recent inspiration from Cindy s own love for tea and coffee shops. I was inspired by my mom's teacup collection that I remember from when I was a kid. My mom had a teacup collection that she had on display in her china hutch. When we moved to Minnesota my mom gave away all of her teacups to her friends to remember her by. What a sweet gesture... While designing this line, I dug thru my cupboards and hutches for teapots and fancy cups and lined them all up to inspire me while I drew. I also grabbed my favorite apron and tea cozy for dimensions while designing the sizing for them. My bestie and I love to visit tea and coffee shops and I love all of the tea flavors and can spend hours smelling the different blends.
